Indi's first tripawd photograph
Here she is, four days after surgery. Thank goodness Indi looks great in red. She loves to lie in the grass. Don’t tell Dr Simpson. Indi is supposed to stay indoors, confined to one room for two weeks. But all she wants to do is lie in the grass, feeling the sun, panting… and that is good medecine if you ask me.
About indi
Raina is Indi's mom. She is 30 and lives in Portland, Oregon. Raina was 22 when she got Indi and her heart broke when Indi was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. Today Indi and Raina are living life one day at time. Things sure look brighter with a supportive Tripawd community.
She is a beautiful girl. How much does she weigh? How is she handling the who thing? I love big dog faces like hers, sweet :O)
Ok, I just found the rest of the story. Indie and my boy weigh in the same. I hope she is doing well!
Hi Fighting Sammy’s parent, Sammy is a big one, too! It makes me feel good to see pictures of Great Dane and German Shepherd Tripawds. I was initially very nervous about how well Indi would navigate her 90 pounds with three legs. And for the past few years (basically up until she got sick) she weighed 100 pounds. I’m working on new posts and putting up photos today. So check back on us soon! I will certainly read up on Sammy, too.
You can’t ask for better medicine than soaking up the rays. She sure looks hoppy!
I AGREE!!!!
